Service Team

Dedicated Team Structure

Team Leader
The Team Leader takes overall responsibility for the delivery of all aspects of client service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing and directing program design, marketing, and placement of insurance, the management of consulting services, and the overall management of the day-to-day servicing of your account.

Account Executive
The Account Executive is responsible for working with the Team Leader to design market and implement your programs. The Account Executive is also a key consultant who is responsible for the actual delivery of day-to-day services.

Account Manager
The Account Manager assists the Account Executive with day-to-day workflow surrounding binders, policies, endorsements, certificates, auto ID cards, and invoicing responsibilities.

Risk Engineer
The Risk Engineer provides intimate knowledge of today’s safety related issues and how they affect the trucking industry in driver retention, insurance premiums, safety and productivity within a company. We have designed and implemented customized programs including on-line driver safety training, web based driver pre-hire assessment programs, CSA 2010 training, commercial driver qualifications review and accident review processes. Our practice is to develop a custom safety program best suited to fit the unique qualities of each individual client.

Claims Advocate
Your Claims Advocate will assist with all claim handling issues and will be your advocate to ensure all claims are being aggressively managed to provide the best possible outcome.

Core Services

Certificates of Insurance
McGriff understands the absolute importance of certificates of insurance and offers our clients ondemand certificate issuance with a dedicated team member. All McGriff certificates are issued within one hour of request. Monthly reports(listing of all active certificates issued) are also available. Another benefit to our clients is our capability to issue large quantities of certificates with little lead-time, which becomes most beneficial at renewal time because we are able to deliver new certificates to your clients. This prevents any interruption of service to your valued clients

Transportation Safety
We have an intimate knowledge of today’s safety related issues and how they affect the trucking industry in driver retention, insurance premiums, safety and productivity within a company. Regulatory Documents
We also understand the Federal and State filing and endorsement requirements that you must have in place in order to conduct your business (including MCS-90, BMC-91X, BMC-34, Form E and Form H filings). We work directly with regulatory agencies and your insurance carrier to ensure that you are always in compliance.

Contract Review
As an added layer of protection to our clients, we perform contract reviews specifically related to insurance matters. Many contracts written today do not include accurate or current requirements related to insurance. These inaccuracies can lead to increased costs and assumed liability for you. We will provide a written and verbal overview of the contract reviewed.

Auto ID Cards
McGriff issues Auto ID Cards in the manner preferred by each of our clients. We are also up to- date on state specific requirements and can provide cards in compliance with these regulatory guidelines. This knowledge protects our clients from state fines, penalties, and extended downtime due to incorrect documents.

Claim Services

The importance of claims handling can never be overstated. Throughout the claims process, McGriff is actively involved in discussion with your loss adjusters, insurers, and legal representatives. McGriff employs a full-time claims staff dedicated to facilitating claims for our clients. In addition, we permanently assign a claims consultant to each client and we believe that each individual on your claims team can and should influence the ultimate cost of your loss.

We offer 24/7 claims reporting via (800) 476-2211, online or by fax. Once received, our staff reports the claims to the appropriate carrier, creates a follow-up diary, and continues to monitor the claim to its conclusion.

Oversight
Many brokerage firms have shifted the claims function to less senior employees in a attempt to control costs. At McGriff, we believe that claims handling should be a concern of top management. We also believe that claims issues are best handled with the direct involvement of your Dedicated Service Team. Knowledge of your placements is critical in understanding the intent of the parties involved, the meaning of the insuring clauses, and the predicted impact on claims collection.
